About Us

Our mission is to help male Medical Assistants, male Nurses, and any other male not a physician get equal treatment in doctors offices and hospitals.  This site is also geared towards the male patients.  To teach male patients of their right to choose who provides treatment to them.  To also inform the patient that medical providers must by law follow the patients requests for treatment.  This site is also geared to help male medical providers obtain legal counsel and other avenues of legal help when you as a male is discriminated against, harassed, and miss-treated by female colleagues and medical faciltities.

Services

Our website is for males of the medical community to come and share discrimination and abusive treatment that males have encountered in the medical community.  You can share your experiences with other male medical providers, offer alternatives, provide a helping hand by offering an ear so that men can vent.  We offer our services to all MALES ONLY!  We provide free advice to all males that deal with the medical community and also to all male patients.  We will also provide male medical providers a thoroughfare to legal adviser's and other legal avenues to obtain fair treatment.

 Donald Balsa Ignores Requests:

Donald Balsa, AAMA's legal counsel has been repeatedly contacted by this CMA only to be ignored.  This CMA has contacted Mr. Balsa requesting his help with the discrimination that is going on against male medical assistants only to be ignored.  Mr. Balsa never returns phone calls, he never responds to e-mail's, and as an attorney and an officer of the courts he is bound by law to report this illegal labor activity to the courts.  This CMA is sending a request to the Bar Association to have Mr. Balsas' law license be revoked due to failure to execute his duties as an Officer of the Court.  This discrimination needs to stop now.  The medical community appears to only hire males in positions where physical superiority  is needed such as in the psychiatric units, as EMT's, and in mostly male orientated areas such as Urology.  Qualified males, well trained and knowledgeable males are being denied employment and talents are being wasted and the reason, females are afraid that men can do a better job than them and they do not want to be shown up by a male.  They do not want to have to face that they are inferior to males!  This CMA does realize that this does not include all female medical personnel, but it does apply to most females.  

Patients Rights:

1) 
As a male patient, you have the right to choose between a Male Nurse, Male Medical Assistant and it is mandatory by    law that the medical facility must comply with your demands and wishes.

2)  Let us males send a message to the medical community and the female persuasion that men have rights as well and we want and demand equal rights for male Medical Professionals and that if males have to allow females into "male dominant" jobs, then females must allow males to perform typical "Female dominant" jobs.

3)  Females are given the right and choice to either have a female or male medical professional, well the big secret, the men have that same choice even though it is never stated to the male patient!  MEN lets teach the female occupation that they must follow the equal rights laws as everyone else has to!


4)  If you are a victim of unsolicited advancements by female medical personnel, file a complaint with the Office Manager and call your legal counsel ASAP and file a sexual harassement suit against the medical provider and the female medical provider who approached you.

5)  If you have been referred to a specialist or procedure by your physician and the physician's "nurse" is making the appointment for you, if you do not hear from that "nurse" within five working days,  call your attorney and file a lawsuit for Medical Malpractice.  When I was working as a Medical Assistant and performing these duties, my turn around was 48 hours.  This means that after the patient was informed of the referral being requested by the physician , the patient was notified within 48 hours of their appointment date and time.  It should not take weeks to get a referral appointment made.  This male Medical Assistant observed females texting, using office computers to view their facebook page, look up sales for clothing and shoes, department store adds, grocery store adds and coupons,and gossiping amongst other females in the medical office, talking about other patients violating HIPAA Laws and yet nothing is being done about this inappropriate activities, in fact they are condoned by office managers and physicians.  The reason this is being allowed, the physicians and owners of these medical offices can keep labor costs low and benefits to a minimum



 Medical Personnel Advice:

1)  Carry a mini tape recorder on you at all times, this will provide audio evidence for the male medical provider.  However, you must be warned, any audio pertaining to a patient must be kept in a locked, safe from exposure location so as to comply with HIPPA Laws and Regulations. 


2)  If female medical personnel discuss their boyfriends or husbands package or other intimate information, make sure you get this audio taped and file a grievance with the office manager ASAP.  Make a copy of this audio tape and give it to the office manager. 

3)  Make sure that you document everything and in great detail.  The female staff will want you to make vague statements in patients charts, do not do this because they are lining you up to fail because they will deny everything and place blame onto you.

4)  Make sure that you follow every protocol, make sure that your comments cannot be misconstrued because the females will twist and turn what you said around to make you look guilty.

5)  A Male Medical Provider is under more scrutiny than a female because until the medical field becomes equal, the females have the upper hand, hopefully with this site and cooperation with all male medical personnel and the patients, this will change.

6)  If you are a male medical provider and you witness "flirting" taking place between a male patient and a female medical provider, make sure you get this on tape and file a grievance with the Human Resource Department.  This type of behavior is unprofessional and the double standard for females must come to an end!

7)  Protect yourself if you are dealing with materialistic and snobby patients.  These type females will be the first to make claims of sexual harassmentIf you as a male medical provider must perform and EKG or other procedure that a females skin must be exposed, make sure you take a witness in with you and make sure your audio tape is on so as this will protect you.

8)  Also be aware that female patients with limited income will also lie and claim sexual harassment to obtain a big payday because they know that the male medical provider will be terminated no matter what, and the medical  facility will ultimately settle so as to keep it out of the press. 

9)  Make sure that you perform your duties as prescribed, if you notice females not performing their duties, try to find a witness as to what your female colleagues are doing and audio tape this as well. 

10)  Make sure that you stay out of the females conversations because they will try to involve you into their drama.  Stay neutral when it comes to female disputes between female colleagues, the worst thing you can do is take sides.  The female loser will sabotage you and get you terminated.

11)  If a female patient or colleague makes false claims against you, file a complaint with the Office Manager, hire an attorney and file a slander and Defamation of Character Lawsuit against the medical facility and the female who made the false claims.  If females have to start paying for their lie's, then maybe the lying will stop.  Just make sure you have your audio tape on.  Keep all tapes for at least 2 years.


12)  Make sure that when you perform an EKG or other procedure and you cannot find another person as a witness, make sure you verbally explain what your doing to the female patient so as to get this on audio tape and make sure that you get the female to agree with what your doing and obtain permission.  This is ridiculous that us men have to do this, but the females do not want to have to share the medical field with men.  They want this field to be exclusively for them and them alone.  It is time that females start living by the rules as well.

13)  If you notice female colleagues on the work computer facebooking, tweeting, writing personal e-mails, texting, primping, and or gossiping about other people, do NOT say anything to them, document the date, time, and specifically what the female colleague was doing and provide the office manager COPIES of this documentation, keep the originals!  If nothing is done, file a grievance with the EEOC immediately because this shows favoritism of female medical providers.  Also, inform the owner of the medical facility because they are paying the wages of the females and they should care that their money is being stolen from them.

14)  If for any reason you have actual proof of discrimination, sexual harassment, favoritism, or unfair treatment file a complaint with the EEOC immediately!  It is time females start playing by the same rules as us men!
